Yellow Copy- Student Copy (Pass to get back on the bus)
Pink Copy- Transportation Office Copy
Gold Copy- Bus Driver’s Copy
Elementary and Preschool
Once a driver does a discipline report on an elementary or preschool student, the bus driver hand delivers the write-up to the school principal or designee. The principal or designee, will discuss the situation with the student, and the principal or designee will hand deliver the write-up back to the bus driver. A copy will be mailed to the parents. The bus driver keeps the gold copy and the school principal sends the pink copy to the transportation department. The yellow copy is the students pass to get back on the bus and is retained by the driver.
Middle School and High School
Once a driver does a discipline report on a middle school or high school student, the bus driver hand delivers the write-up to the student to take to the principal. Once the student is given the write-up by the bus driver, the student cannot ride the bus again until the student presents the driver with the yellow write-up form signed and dated by the principal. The yellow copy is the students pass to get back on the bus and is retained by the driver. The gold copy is kept by the bus driver and the white copy is sent home to the parents. The pink copy is kept by the transportation department, and the school office keeps the green copy. Scott County Middle School sends it home with the student. Scott County Middle School requires that a parent sign the form and return it to the school.
