Northern Elementary School Principal Judi Hunter will retire effective May 31, 2017 after 38 years in education. The school’s SBDM council met with Scott County Schools Superintendent Dr. Kevin Hub on March 14, 2017. The agenda included training on principal selection and establishing a timeline to hire a principal for Northern.
Hunter has been principal at the distinguished school for the past 11 years. “Northern is an incredible school with awesome students and teachers and supportive parents,” Hunter commented. There are 390 students enrolled at Northern. The school has 50 employees.
To gather feedback from all stakeholders, a survey will be available beginning at 8:00am on Monday, March 20 and will remain open until 6:00pm on Thursday, March 23. Access the online survey from the Northern Elementary School website. Paper copies will be available in the front office of the school.

April 11 from 4-6:00pm
April 18 from 3-8:00pm
