A lifetime resident of Georgetown, Kentucky, I am proud to call Georgetown my home; and honored to be part of Elkhorn Crossing School. I graduated from Scott County High School in 1996, and went on to attend Georgetown College for my undergraduate degree. At Georgetown College I earned my Bachleor of Arts, with a major in history and a minor in psychology. After college I assisted my father in his real estate business for a year and then went on to attend Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University where I earned my Juris Doctor (law degree). In 2006 I was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association and opened my own law office in Georgetown where I practiced law for seven years. Then I decided to return to school at night to obtain my Masters in Education from Georgetown College; receiving my Rank 1 in middle school and high school social studies. Now I am proud to be part of Elkhorn Crossing School's Law & Justice Village, working alongside an incredible faculty and staff. Also, I am the Scott County Teen Court Coordinator for the Scott County Teen Court program, working with Scott County District Judge Mary Jane Phelps, whom presides over Teen Court.
As a proud parent of a young boy I am honored to be teaching soon-to-be young adults, and I truly know the value of education. My wife teaches at Eastern Elementary here in Scott County so my family is involved with the youngest of students as well as the ones almost finished with their public schooling. Thank you for allowing me to part of your child's education.
