My name is Whitney Brewer and I am in my 14th year teaching science. I am from Georgetown and graduated from Scott Co. High School in 1992. I originally obtained my Bachelor's degree in Plant and Soil Science from UK College of Ag. After working in the conservation field for several years, I decided to go back to school and got my Masters in Education from Georgetown College in 2005. In 2013, I earned my National Board Certification.
My husband Ben is also from Georgetown and we have two children, Brody and Macy Sue. Our "other" children are a goldendoodle named Mojo, fat cat named Tubby, Bonnie the rabbit, and two rotten guinea pigs named Sparkle and Pinkie Pie :-). Hobbies include spending time with my family, playing with my kids, reading, gardening, sewing, and cooking (eating- haha).
