I am beginning my 12th year here at Scott County Ninth Grade School, where I teach three Social Studies classes and three Pre-AP Social Studies class.
My educational background includes: a Bachelor's Degree in History, French, and Secondary Education, a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in History, and a Master's Degree in Special Education. I spent my childhood in Canada, where I attended a French Immersion school. As a teenager, I moved to Kentucky where I completed my high school education as well as all of my college degrees. My area of specialty in History is the Holocaust.
I am the proud mother of a Senior and two wiener dogs. I am an avid professional portrait photographer in my spare time and am a member in good standing of Photo Pro Network/Kentucky Professional Photographers Association and Professional Photographers of America. I also enjoy needlepoint and travel, as well as watching my son's sporting events.
