Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! This is my eleventh year teaching at Western Elementary and my ninth teaching fourth grade. I started my career teaching third grade. I am a graduate of Scott County High School, and I earned my teaching degree from Georgetown College. I also graduated from Eastern Kentucky University where I earned my masters.
My husband, Billy, is the principal at Kit Carson Elementary in Madison County. We live in Stamping Ground where we happily raise our two daughters, Brenna and Molly. Brenna is an enthusiastic six year old who is looking forward to first grade. Molly is two years old and keeps me busy! During my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, running and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to an exciting year!
