I am excited to begin my fourth year at Lemons Mill Elementary and look forward to a great one! I began my career teaching third grade, but I have since enjoyed teaching second grade. I have currently taught in the district for sixteen years, and I am proud to call Scott County my home. After graduating from Georgetown College with a degree in Elementary Education, I completed my masters in Instructional Leadership at Eastern Kentucky University. My love for being a classroom teacher led me to pursue my National Board Certification in the area of Literacy.
My husband and I are the proud parents of three children. My daughter, Anna Pryor, is eleven years old and will be a sixth grader. She loves school, swimming, and dance. Collin, my son, will be in third grade at Lemons Mill. He has a deep love for the outdoors and enjoys discovering how things work. Our baby girl will be two in November. I had forgotten how busy toddlers can be. These three have taught me so much about children and their unique and changing needs.
One of my favorite things about Lemons Mill is our desire to continue learning and improving. I can’t wait to share my excitement with you and your child. Thanks for coming tonight. I look forward to a wonderful year.
