UPCOMING EVENTS!: 

G&T Opportunities Fair, all 10th grade G&T students are invited to the High School Library on Thursday, August 31st during either 3rd or 5th hour to learn about opportunities for involvement in high school! Permission forms must be signed by teachers and presented by students at the library door to attend!

G&T Opportunities Fair, all 9th grade G&T students are invited to the 9th grade library on Friday, September 1st during either 3rd or 5th hour to learn about opportunities for involvement in high school! Permission forms must be signed by teachers and presented by students at the library door to attend!

GSP Application Workshop, Any student applying to GSP is invited to refine their essay, proof their writing, and receive critical feedback on potential points awarded at this year's Workshop, Saturday October 21st in the High School Library from 12-3. Lunch will be provided!

College Essay Writing Workshop, Any senior interested in learning more about producing an expressive and well-written college application essay, please stay after school on Thursday, September 28th from 4-5 in the High School Library to work with Mrs. Booth and AP English teacher Mrs. Fiechter. Students will understand what colleges are looking for in exemplary essays, examine excellent examples from past SCHS students, brainstorm ideas, and receive feedback on essays-in-progress!

 

ONGOING SERVICES:

Congratulations to Cage Tevis, winner of a QuestBridge College Match scholarship worth over $200,000! Cage will be attending Washington & Lee University in Virginia next year --- for FREE!  Juniors interested in QuestBridge, look for information coming to you in the winter/spring!
