More about Mr. Cook
I am thrilled to be the 4th grade science at Garth. I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for science and learning with my students this year. I enjoy exploring science in every day life with my family. We study the stars, follow the weather, and even entertain with science. This is a picture of when my eldest daughter and I saw the Mythbusters live.
In my spare time, beyond playing with science, I also love to take road trips with my family. We have traveled as far North as Mackinac Island, MI and Seattle, WA; as far east as Hilton Head, SC; as far south as Orlando, FL; and as far west as the California Redwoods. We even followed the Oregon Trail all the way to the Oregon Coast. When we travel, we camp along the way and enjoy seeing our beautiful country and studying as much as we can, such as our nation's history, geography, and geology. My daughters have earned their Junior Ranger badges in Yellowstone and The Redwoods. They want to earn as many as possible.
My family is a big fan of Garth. My children love to be in the school- my eldest is a student at Garth, and my youngest will be one as soon as she is old enough for Kindergarten. My wife volunteers at the school and is on the PTO board. In all, we are happy to be at Garth and do all we can to help the students, teachers, and school thrive.
I look forward to getting to know your student throughout the year. If you have questions, feel free to email, call, or visit anytime.
All the best!
