        A Clarification: Pearls are white and symbols of purity and often given as wedding gift or adorn a wedding gown. In this case the pearl is used to signify a death- explain how Shakespeare takes what seems to be a unifying object( man and woman united) and turns it into something else. How does that reflect the other aspects of this Danish society that are being corrupted?
