Students will complete the Algebra 2 curriculum and prepare for the final exam in May. Students must pass this course to qualify for High School graduation. Each of the four quarters are 20% of the grade and the final exam is 20% of the final grade.
The Algebra 2 course is designed such that students complete the state curriculum and are prepared to be successful on the Algebra 2 exams; as well as the ACT, which will be administered by Scott County High School in March. The curriculum provides students with a solid mathematical base for following upper level math courses. To qualify for a high school diploma, all students are required to pass Algebra 2 and take a fourth year of math.
