NTI Instructions

Each snow day at SCHS is an NTI day for AP Physics 1. Every morning that there is an NTI day, I will prepare materials to post in the NTI folder on this page for the students to complete. I will post worked out solutions to any assignments the students are working, online readings, videos, or interactive labs for them to perform, and any additional assignments. The password for any file is the same we have used since the summer assignments.

I do the best I can in the situation to make the content flow for the students as if they had never missed a class due to the weather. It is important for the students to complete each NTI assignment on the day is is assigned, as we will continue on with class when we return as if this were the case.

If students need any assistance, are unsure of what they need to do, or need help with the assignments, I will be available on these days from 9 - 12 and 1 - 4 to answer questions. I can be reached by e-mail or text.

Announcements
  • February 12

I am posting the solutions to the review that you had 3 days to work on last week. If you haven't finished trying them yourself, do it. If you have questions about the solutions, send me a message. I quite possibly could have missed 1 or 4.  We WILL have a test on this this week.

I will have the quizes graded and ready to go over tomorrow as well. If you missed either quiz, there were 3, send me a message and I'll e-mail one to you. These were more for feedback than a grade.

Your NTI assignment, for a grade, that you must write on paper to turn in:

*List specific problems from the packet or review that you have questions about.

*List specific I can statements that you are not sure what they mean.

Several People got a ZERO on the previous NTI assignemnt like this.

  • February 7 - February 9

I am posting a review to be done between Wednesday and Friday. If we have an NTI day, start working the questions on notebook paper. The sub will have the papers. There is no way I will be able to get a key posted before Friday. Please work together and be ready to check answers on Monday. If I get the key made out over the weekend, I will post it Sunday. I plan on the harmonic motion test Tuesday.

  • February 5

I am going to be out all week. I plan to post some solutions to the work I give you. I am planning on grading all the papers turned in last week and leaving them for my sub to give back to you. We will test harmonic motion next week. You need to work through all of the work I give you and use your class time to discuss things together.

I will post a file in the NTI folder dated February 5.
