View Events/Assignments for 
Our Kindergarten classes are filled with eager boys and girls, ready to learn and grow.  Every day is a new adventure.  Kids develop the ability to do quality work and have star behavior.

  • We welcome you to a wonderful school year.  After a wpmderful beginning in our Kindergarten classroom, we want to "thank-you" for sharing your child with us.
       Our focus this year will be to build your child's self-esteem, confidence, and independence, as well as promoting his/her academic abilities.
       We will provide a positive school experience for your child and set a strong and fun foundation for learning.  I look forward to going to my classroom every day, and hope your young person has enjoyed Kindergarten so far.
       The first nine weeks report card will go home in October.  Here are some skills to work on with your child:
    *Identify the 12 months of the year
    *Identify the 7 days of the week
    *name the coins; penny, nickel, dime, & quarter
    *Tell that a pattern is a repeated sequence
    *Continue an AB pattern
    *Continue an ABC pattern
    Recognize, write, and count objects to20
    *Describe the position of an object
    *Name shapes that are solid; conoe, cylinder, cube, shpere
    *Recognize letters and sounds
    *Recognize words; I, a, am, can, is,the, at, color words,and, go, like, and we
    *Recognize many beginning sounds
    *Recognize rhyming words
    *Write first name
    *Write letters that have been learned
    *Recognize shapes that are flat(Circle, square, triangle, rectangle, and hexagon)
