le 5 février--We reviewed for the family test and talked about our mardi gras party. If we are in school Tuesday, our party will be that day. Handouts are in the class links folder.

le 8 janvier--Students had a bellringer and a worksheet practicing avoir and objects. Students had time to practice and earn speaking stamps, which count as a quiz.
le 7 janvier--We labeled pictures for vocabulary. We worked on the difference between un/une/des and le/la/l'/les (using pages 153-5).
In class we did Ex. 4 and 5 from page 154.
Homework--Ex. 6 (odds only) and Ex. 8 (all) from page 155.

le 26 octobre--Today we watched some videos related to Halloween vocabulary (handout in October folder). We talked about La Toussaint and its significance, and we learned colors. The color terms are in the October folder.

le 25 sept.--We finished Ratatouille and began learning food terminology. We also discussed foods day. A handout is in the September folder.
le 24 sept.--We presented weather videos.
le 23 sept.--The sub was here. Students continued Ratatouille.?
le 22 sept.--Students who weren't finished filmed while the sub was here. Others started watching Ratatouille.
le 21 sept.--Students revised scripts and filmed weather reports.

vendredi-Students revised weather reports and worked on visuals. It was club day, so some students went to clubs.

mardi-we reviewed for the quiz and took notes on weather conditions and seasons
lundi, le 14 sept.--Today we practiced dictation, did a pairs speaking exercise and took a practice quiz. The quiz will be Wednesday. The practice and answer key are in the September folder.

August 25--Imagine you are preparing to study abroad, and you want to send information to your host family. Using the phone template, write about yourself, and illustrate some aspect of your writing.

August 21--We briefly reviewed yesterday's verbs and added them into our interactive notebooks. These are on pages 74-75 in the book. Students continued earning stamps for speaking. Students have a puzzle for homework if they did not finish in class. They need to write all of the French. Finding the words in the puzzle is optional.
August 20--Students took notes on expressing likes and dislikes. Students learned around 20 common verbs. We acted out these verbs.
August 19--played Bingo with numbers from 0-60; reviewed numbers
Learned how to ask someone's birthday and how to say our own birthday
Students have homework tonight! The worksheet is saved in the class links.
August 18--Spelling quiz, worked on numbers from 21-60
Learned how to ask someone's age and state our own age
August 17--Reviewed spelling and accent marks; quiz tomorrow

August 14--We added numbers from 0-20 in our notes and did a math worksheet in French. I took the speaking quiz grade on stamps.
August 13--We assembled our notebooks and took notes on accent marks in French.
August 12--We took notes on the alphabet and pronunciation. Students practiced spelling and sounding out words.
August 11--Students worked on greetings and basic vocabulary. Students presented dialogues to each other.
August 10--Students wrote and practiced dialogues.

August 7--We finished and reviewed Greetings vocabulary. Students spoke dialogues. I introduced the Speaking Stamps for when students demonstrate the ability to say particular things.
August 6--We worked on greetings, introductions and saying how we are doing. The vocabulary handout is link under Class Links/Files.
August 5--Class rules and how to say "hello" and "my name is"
