The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) was released on Oct. 1. The form is intended to help seniors pay for college and is time-sensitive. It is in the best interest of the student to submit the form as soon as possible.
Seniors and parents can meet with a representative from the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) this week to ask questions and receive help filling out the form. To set up a meeting time, students can visit the counselor's office or parents can contact the office at Scott County High School at (502) 863-2899. Meeting times are still available.
Available meeting times include Thursday, October 12 from 9am-12pm at Elkhorn Crossing School and 9am-4:15pm on Friday, October 13 at Scott County High School.
If evening meeting times are needed, the KHEAA representative will be available for drop-ins at the Scott County Public Library on Monday, November 6 from 6-8pm.
