To be in the science class of Alicia Thomas at Royal Spring Middle School you have to make the cut, literally. The unit of study coined “Frogology” covered the anatomy, coloration, and predator/prey relationships of frogs. Pictured left, a student makes the initial cut at the point of incision during the culmination project.
Students were excited about this opportunity. “This is a great experience because you get to have hands-on, real experience with the frogs. You actually get to try it out. Its kind of gross but I think it is a really cool experience,” commented Makia McIntyre.
