YLead | Middle School Youth Entrepreneurship Program
YLEAD is a free program offered by the Urban League of Lexington – Fayette County and State Farm Youth Advisory Board. It teaches middle school youth entrepreneurship skills through mentors, research, and implementation. Students work in diverse groups to create a business and marketing plan, budget, develop a product or service, and manage investments. Collaboratively they will also create a best practices guide for future small business owners. The top team of each session will receive additional financial assistance for postsecondary education.
