Quote:

"In tragedy and despair, when an endless night seems to have fallen, hope can be found in the realization that the companion of night is not another night, that the companion of night is day, that darkness always gives way to light, and that death rules only half of creation, life the other half.”

? Dean Koontz, Lightning

Kudos:

Leigh Ellen Baird: I have known Mrs. Baird was a good teacher since 2000 when I first started working with her.  In my new role seeing her in action daily this year I am now convinced she is a GREAT teacher! The passion, work ethic, and student focus oozes out of Leigh Ellen.  I want all 3 of my children to have her as a teacher.

Reflection:

Every time we witness senseless acts of violence it can easily make us lose our hope and faith in each other.  I get as mad as everyone else and probably more.  What I always end up focusing on though that helps me is all of the people that rush into danger to help others. For the very few cowards out there hundreds if not thousands of hero's rise to the occasion.
