Description:
24 Computers with Microsoft Office 2010 will be provided.
Due to the brevity of this session, BYOD will not be supported.
This session will introduce participants to the tools available from their school 
account.
 
Access Free Versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote from a web browser.
Create Documents and Folders which can be shared with Individuals or Groups.
Planning a Team Project?  Create the file once then grant access to all the people 
working on it.  Keep one document Instead of emailing changes back and forth.
Create a Group which has its own save space, group Calendar and E-mail which are 
accessible from any modern computer with Internet Access.
 
Install the Skydrive Software and automatically synchronize files between a server 
backup and your local machine.  Apps for the Ipad, Mac, Iphone and PC allow to view 
and/or edit your documents from anywhere.
 
This session would be good for those who are seeking to learn effective ways to 
share documents and information with student, parents or colleagues. A certificate 
for one hour will be given to those attending.  Please check with your administrator 
prior to attending to verify their polices on awarding in-service credit.
