You are invited to our Grandparents & Grandfriends Social!
I’m giving this to you as a way to say.....
You are important to me and always make my day.
I hope you can come to have some fun
And see all the things in school I’ve done.
Grandparents and other older adults can be very important people in children’s lives. Children feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when they know that people in their extended family and community are interested in their education. So, we’re having a special celebration! Grandparents and Grandfriends Day recognizes the importance of our heritage, our community, and relationships across generations.
We are inviting grandparents of our students to the event on Friday, September 23rd from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. We understand that all children don’t have grandparents that are living or that live close enough to attend, so we encourage these children to bring another special older adult – a family friend, other relative like an aunt or uncle, or a neighbor. We will be taking pictures of grandparents and their grandchildren for just $1.00 per print in front of a fall setting.
If you can help by acting as a volunteer during the event, please call Naomi Rose at 570-3050. She will take your information and someone will get back with you with your assignment for the evening.
Grandparents & Grandfriends Day is a special day for both young and old. Thank you for your cooperation in making the event a success and positive, memorable experience for your child!
