Garth is happy to welcome Mrs. Samantha St. Clair to the 3rd grade team. We are fortunate to have a teacher with experience and a strong desire to do everything she can for the students at Garth. She has provided an introduction letter below, and will be scheduling a meeting with her homeroom parents to meet her after school in the first week we return in January.
My name is Samantha St. Clair and I could not be more thrilled to be joining your school and class to teach your child. I am originally from Hartford, a very small town in western Kentucky. I earned my teaching degree from Western Kentucky University and am working towards my masters at the University of the Cumberlands. I have experience teaching 5th and 6th grade but have always loved when I’ve had the opportunity to work with 3rd and 4th grade as well.
My husband and I have two wonderful daughters! Caroline, 4, and Addison 2, are our constant source of entertainment, forever keeping us on our toes. We relocated to Lexington in July when my husband began his family medicine residency at UK. We love this town and area and are so excited to call this amazing horse country our home!
I am so unbelievably elated to be joining the 3rd grade team at Garth and can’t wait to get to know each of you! Please know I can always be contacted with any concerns or happy thoughts! I look forward to a great remainder of the 2016-2017 school year!
